The Sword that never Sleeps?

Hmm... Why did I put a title like that to my blog? Assaif-the sword that never sleeps? Can anyone suggest why?

I had my own reason for that...but I really do not know whether others will think of it as relevant or not...Okey.. let's take it step by step...

assaif is an ARABIC word which means sword. And why did that word cross my mind when I was looking for a title name? Of course from my namela friend...Saifuddin...which means..the sword of Islam (addin=islam...isn't it?)

A sleeping sword? hehe..of course a sword never sleep because literally...it is not a living creature...so how could it get sleep? Haha...the confusion has just began...keep on reading...

Ever heard a Malay wisdom which sounds something like... "mata pena itu lebih tajam dari mata pedang"....? Never? Hmm...What should I say? "Kesianla sesape yang tak penah dengar tuh..." But, if u guys really never heard about it,maybe it is a translation from an Arabic word of wisdom... Sorry...

Therefore, the explanation goes like this...

[in malay] Kita haruslah menganggap sesuatu yang ditulis itu sebagai ditulis dengan mata pena. Tidak kira samada diterbitkan secara elektronik mahupun tidak elektronik. Mata pena pula perlu disinonimkan dengan mata pedang kerana dengan pedang@senjata kita mungkin dapat membunuh atau menyelamatkan seseorang dari dibunuh...tetapi dengan mata pena kita boleh mengubah nasib dunia dan menyelamatkan beribu malah mungkin berjuta manusia dari ditindas dan disiksa. Kita ambil contoh Tanah Melayu yang semangat menuntut kemerdekaannya datang dari suara akhbar dan ternyata mebuahkan hasil...

Berbalik kepada isuThe Sword that never Sleeps. Maka apabila kedua perkara itu telah disinonimkan (setiap yang ditulis=ditulis dengan mata pena & mata pedang=mata pena) dapatlah dinyatakan bahawa orang yang menulis mungkin tidur,tetapi tidak tulisannya. Ini kerana hasil tulisannya tidak mungkin tidur dan terus dapat dibaca oleh orang-orang yang tidak tidur dan insyaAllah mendatangkan faedah kepada orang yang membacanya. It's not I'm trying to promote Metallica here...but just want to make u guys thinks a little bit about the lyrics... pretty cool eh? it really reflects our life... When we know who we really are...why other matters should bother? Say, as a Muslim...we were tought about how we should live this temporary life...and should then follow the path already guided to us...Islam is the way of life...why we should bother other's way of life?

Islam is just too perfect...it has been said in a Quranic verse:"alyauma akmaltulakum dinakum atmamtu alaikum ni'mati waradhiitulakumul islaama dinaa.." So...hopefully all of us will be a good Muslim...and may Allah show us the right path...
